Candle Care
How to care for your candles
-
Fancy a wickie?
Trim the wick to at least 1/4 inches before lighting your candle. This keeps the flames from flaring, leaking, or burning unevenly. If you don't trim the wick of your candle, it will burn hotter and faster.
After each burn, trim the candle wick. This is critical to avoid the candles from smoking or scorching the sides of the glass on the following burn.
To avoid smoke and hot wax splattering, extinguish the candle with a snuffer or dip the wick into melted wax and straighten it. Do not blow out the candles.
